A very scary moment during a tag team match at WWE Payback on Sunday, as Enzo Amore suffered a serious (unscripted) injury that forced WWE to temporarily stop the Pay-Per-View event.
Simon Gotch tried to throw Amore out of the ring, and Amore’s head got awkwardly caught under the bottom of the rope, before then hitting the mat. Amore was motionless and quickly attended to by a medical official, before being stretchered off.
Here’s video of the incident:

Amore was taken to a Chicago area hospital. He is apparently talking and moving extremities, which is certainly great news.
