Over the years, Playboy magazine has developed quite a reputation for its nude female models, and German soccer star Giulia Gwinn has earned a lot of attention for her beauty. As a result, the magazine reached out to Gwinn to see if she would be willing to take off her clothing and pose for Playboy, but it sounds like she has declined.
According to a recent article from German outlet BILD, Playboy reached out to Giulia Gwinn to see if she would consider posing without her clothes for an edition of the adult magazine leading up to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, but Playboy said in a recent statement that this was “not an option for her.”
“Giulia Gwinn is not only an outstanding athlete, but also a beautiful young woman. So a personality like her is naturally interesting for Playboy,” Florian Boitin, editor-in-chief and publisher of Playboy Germany, said in a statement to BILD.
This would not have been the first time a player from Germany’s women soccer team posed in the magazine. Back in 2011, five players from Germany’s U20 team appeared in the magazine prior to the World Cup. But it’s clear that Gwinn will not be joining them.
