USMNT player Jesús Ferreira has impressed in a big way during the team’s run through the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, recording a hat trick in their last game against St. Kitts and Nevis.

He followed this up with another hat trick in the team’s matchup on Sunday against Trinidad and Tobago, ridiculously scoring all three before halftime.

Ferreira helped set the tone straight away in this game, scoring in the 14th minute followed by a “peace sign” as a fitting celebration.

He was then set up beautifully by his teammate in the 38th minute, but his initial shot was saved by the Trinidad and Tobago goalkeeper. However, Ferreira stuck with it after the save, scoring his second goal of the game.

It looked like the United States was going to go into the half with a 2-0 lead. However, Trinidad and Tobago conceded a foul in the penalty area.

Ferreira received the penalty shot, and he did not disappoint, making it a 3-0 game and netting his second straight hat trick in as many games.

Fans have certainly taken notice of his impressive performance, praising him on social media for his excellent play as of late.

The recent play from Jesús Ferreira is certainly encouraging, but there are still obvious questions about whether he can replicate this success against tougher competition.

Regardless, this recent play from him puts him in a class of his own in USMNT history, becoming the first USMNT player to ever score hat tricks in consecutive games.
