The CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying is underway, and we’ve already seen one spectacular highlight of a goal, from none other than Venezuela’s Juanpi.

Juanpi scored the opening goal after shaking a pair of Argentinian defenders, before planting his right leg, and firing away with his left, putting the goal in the top corner of the net out of the reach of the keeper.

He never had a chance to stop this beauty:

Juanpi is still an up and coming player for the Venezuelan team, and they certainly have something to look forward to as this young talent grows.

Despite his amazing goal, the match would end in a 2-2 draw. It was better than a loss for Venezuela, who earned just their second point in group play. They remain at the bottom of the pack, but that was a sweet, sweet goal.
