Keeper bicycle kick

Baroka FC of South Africa was trailing late in its match against the Orlando Pirates Wednesday. With the team doing everything it could to get the equalizer, Baroka turned to its keeper, and came up with a remarkable bicycle kick goal.

Yep. With the match in its final seconds, Baroka had one last chance on a corner kick. After some early chaos, Baroka’s keeper, who was playing up to help out the team, got a chance to kick the ball and delivered one of the most epic and timely bicycle-kick goals you will ever see.

My word, what a play. Bicycle-kick goals are always fun, but when it comes late in the game and from the keeper of all people, it doesn’t get much better than that.

We can only hope South African soccer is a copycat league. That would mean more keeper bicycle-kicks, and eternal happiness.
