Rangers fire president John Davidson and GM Jeff Gorton, who tried to distance themselves from “team” statement
Davidson and Gorton reportedly tried to distance themselves from the highly unusual statement the Rangers put out Tuesday calling for the firing of NHL VP George Parros. The team then fired Davidson and Gorton.
