Tom Brady Candice Ward-USA TODAY Sports

NFL legend Tom Brady attended the WNBA Finals and maybe got a bit more than he bargained for. Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum hilariously called Brady out for finally appearing at one of their games after becoming a minority owner.

Plum and Brady had a conversation on the floor during pregame warmups. Plum saw Brady on the sideline and said to the seven-time Super Bowl champion, “It’s about ******* time you showed up!” To which the quarterback said, “You already know.”

Brady then took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and posted, “Nobody is safe from KP” with a crying-laughing emoji next to it.

This is definitely a different way for Brady to spend a Sunday compared to years past. Tom now gets to do whatever since he isn’t playing quarterback in the NFL anymore. The much-accomplished former quarterback retired from football this past off-season after a career that lasted over 20 years. He won seven Super Bowls, more titles than any singular NFL franchise. That all amid multiple MVP awards, comeback victories, iconic moments, and otherwise.

As for the game? Well, Brady’s presence didn’t hurt things for the Aces. Las Vegas won Game 1 against the New York Liberty with a 99-82 victory on Sunday afternoon.

The sports world had plenty to say about this hilarious encounter between Tom Brady and Kelsey Plum after it happened.
