It wasn’t that long ago that Velveteen Dream was a rising star in WWE’s NXT promotion and seemed destined to be one of the company’s top performers one day. However, he was released from the promotion in 2020 and now he’s been arrested for allegedly attacking a gym employee.

According to TMZ Sports, the professional wrestler, whose real name is Patrick Clark, was involved in an altercation with a gym employee in August that ended with him punching the man in the face and then biting him, per the police report.

Per the report, the employee asked Clark to leave an area in the gym that was closed for cleaning. After the wrestler became “irate and argumentative,” the employee told Clark he had to leave the building. He then allegedly threatened to kill the gym employee and then assaulted him. The police report also notes that the employee had teeth marks on his “left chest near the left armpit.”

Clark was charged with battery and trespassing on a property after warning, both misdemeanors. Unfortunately for him, the 27-year-old was arrested six days after the incident for possessing drug paraphernalia.

A former NXT North American champion, Clark was accused of sending indecent images to underage boys on Instagram and sending a sexually explicit photo to an underage girl in 2020. While WWE said they could not confirm any wrongdoing and he denied the allegations, they released him in early 2021. He had been campaigning for a potential return to the company in August before his second arrest.
