The release of WWE’s annual video game is coming up and they put a GOAT on the cover.

Due to this being his 20th year in WWE, John Cena is on the cover of WWE 2K23. This is the first time Cena has been on the cover of a WWE video game since WWE 2K15.

A trailer dropped that included Cena, Bad Bunny, Logan Paul, and Triple H.

Obviously, given Cena is on the cover, there’s going to be a lot of “You can’t see me” jokes but Cena already took care of that.

Along with the cover art and trailer, 2K revealed various features that’s coming to the game. The very popular WarGames match will be included in the game for the first time along with additional features in MyGM, MyFACTION, MyRISE, and Universe.

The four versions of the game have various perks attached. The Standard and Cross-Gen editions are the same just that the Cross-Gen is a digital download and allows multiplayer with those on PlayStation and Xbox systems. The Deluxe Edition includes the Standard Edition, Bad Bunny (also a preorder special), a season pass to download future DLC packs, the ability to play three days before the release date, and additional features. The Icon Edition includes everything in the Standard and Deluxe in addition to the Ruthless Aggression Pack that has Ohio Valley Wrestling versions of John Cena (The Prototype), Batista (Leviathan), Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton, along with a John Cena Legacy Championship and WrestleMania 22 arena.

Many inside and outside of WWE responded to the news.

WWE 2K23 will launch on March 14 for Deluxe and Icon Edition and the 17th for the Standard and Cross-Gen, two weeks before WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.
