Derek Fisher was relieved of his duties as the head coach of the New York Knicks on Monday after leading the team to a 23-31 record in his second season following an embarrassing 17-65 first year with the team.

On Tuesday afternoon, Knicks president Phil Jackson posted the following tweet containing a message that was interesting, and confusing, to say the least.

This comes after The Vertical‘s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Monday that Jackson could return to the Lakers, and that it would make for a perfect storm if he’s able to bring in Luke Walton, who played for him in Los Angeles.

Whether he does that in New York or Los Angeles, it seems that will be Jackson’s recipe. He wants things done his way without him having to do them. His interim coach in New York, Kurt Rambis, can provide that for him.

But if the message Jackson tweeted out was supposed to give us some kind of preface or background before assuming the next move, it’s not all that comprehensible and doesn’t do us very well.

At least this tweet was easier to understand than his first tweet nearly three years ago.

You’ve come a long way, Phil.
