Ever since LeBron James became the face of the NBA, his trips to Madison Square Garden are always something that catches the nation’s eye.
This was no different Wednesday when James and the Cleveland Cavaliers went to New York to take on the Knicks. Cleveland easily handled New York 126-94. In the midst of the Cavs’ dominance, James threw down an impressive dunk and followed it up with a strange reaction toward the Knicks’ fans.

Now, this would be one thing if James didn’t dunk very often. But this sort of dunk is damn near routine for King James. My best guess is that James wanted to get a close-up at the star-studded cast in attendance Wednesday.
I mean, wouldn’t you want to see how close you could get? The celebs that were at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday were certainly not there to watch Kristaps Porzingis. They were either there to be seen or see James. So, it just seems like the Ohio native just wanted to give the famous people what they wanted. How nice of you, LeBron?
There is also the slight chance James thought he could get away with leaving the game early since it is the Knicks after all.
