Any time a fan is given a chance to win big money at a big time sporting event and they fail miserably, they are sure to live a bit of a short wave of viral attention. There comes a time when it is time to move on and let those fans live their lives, but Good Morning America was not content to let one man ride off into the sunset after a horrible attempt at a $1 million prize before last week’s College Football Playoff national championship game.

Joey Delk provided a bit of a laugh for those tuning in to some pregame show coverage of the championship game last week on ESPN when his awkward throw proved why chest-passing the ball into a hole is the only way to go.

Now, a full week later, Good Morning America decided to milk the story just a little more for some reason, just when you had totally forgotten all about it. They were trying to give him a second chance at some prize money, but all he did was prove once again that he may not have the arm for this sort of competition.

That’s right. At least GMA sent this guy home with $13,000.

Based on his previous performance, I can only imagine the Houston Texans will be giving him a call to be a backup, because they clearly know how to spend money on quarterbacks.
