It is said a man will have two loves in his life. One will be to his wife, and the other will be to his favorite team.

Meet Lee, a Dolphins fan. Just like the cake topper at the reception, Lee donned a Miami Dolphins helmet while posing with his new wife. But don’t think this was a Dolphins fan letting his new wife know football comes first in this relationship. The helmet was actually purchased by his wife.

That’s not a bad little wedding gift for Lee, who may or may not wear that helmet when watching his beloved Dolphins on TV.

Lee, originally from England, also has a fun story about how he became a Dolphins fan in the first place. He picked the Dolphins because he was intending to go to a Tampa Bay game but had his flight canceled. Miami turned out to be Plan B. From CBS Sports:

“I started watching football and was heading out to see the Buccaneers play in Tampa because who doesn’t love Florida,” he wrote on Twitter last year. “But I had a call saying the flight was full and they had overbooked, but that I could be transferred to a Miami flight so I looked it up and the Dolphins were playing the Falcons. So me and my dad went. … Been each year since and with game pass, never miss a game. Dolphins themed wedding coming up.”

If only the couple had tied the knot at a Taco Bell.
