NFL commissioner Roger Goodell may be public enemy number one in Boston and the entire New England region, but we are happy to report he managed to make his way through Logan International Airport without so much as a scratch.

Yes, the most hated man among New England Patriots fans may be unmercifully booed any time his name is mentioned in their presence and players like Rob Gronkowski may suggest Goodell should stay far, far away from Gillette Stadium, but there is actual video footage of Goodell walking through the major Boston airport without being hassled. Maybe it was the ball cap that served as a worthy disguise to maneuver his way through the terminal on his way to his car that caught would-be detractors from hurling their verbal insults and venom.

In the raw video footage captured by CBS affiliate WBZ, we witness first-hand how Goodell leaves the international arrival doors and walks casually with a friend, possibly a body guard should trouble arise or perhaps just a friend or assistant that could be tossed to the wolves should the situation call for it. At one point, we see Goodell check his surroundings for the first sign of trouble. An aware and alert commissioner who knows he is not well respected in his surroundings is always wise to do so in this environment.

All kidding aside, Goodell has probably made his way through Boston on multiple occasions since the Deflategate scandal in New England, and perhaps even since the Brady suspension for pressure in footballs. He may not have stepped foot inside Gillette Stadium in some time, but Goodell has no reason to fear traveling through Boston, even if passionate Patriots fans are on the prowl.
