From Murder, She Wrote to likely getting murdered — it appears veteran actress Angela Lansbury is set to come full circle in her career.

According to a report from German paper, Bild, the 90-year-old actress is set to join the cast of the hit HBO show Game of Thrones for its seventh season. She is likely to play a bit role in a few episodes, and is only expected on set for four days of filming.

Lansbury isn’t the only older name to be joining the cast for the penultimate season of the show either. 71-year-old Oscar winner Jim Broadbent is joining the cast, but in a much more significant role than Lansbury’s.

Most will know Lansbury from the iconic late 1980’s-90’s television show Murder She Wrote, but she has an extensive list of movie and stage credits to her name. She has appeared in such shows as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Manchurian Candidate, The Long, Hot Summer, National Velvet, and Blue Hawaii (where she played Elvis’ mother).

The show is currently in production and a lot of what is about to happen is being kept under pretty good wraps by the cast and crew of the show.

Expect to see Lansbury in her new role sometime in early 2017 when the show is expected to launch. It certainly will be interesting to see what role Lansbury actually plays and most importantly…how the producers decide to kill her off (because we all know that is going to happen).
