If you are ashamed to admit that you fall asleep to The Office every night, Netflix knows. If you are ashamed to admit you watch Parks and Recreation while on the treadmill, Netflix knows. If you are ashamed to admit you watch House of Cards every morning while cooking breakfast, Netflix knows. Wait, all of those are me, and I’m not afraid to admit it.

The streaming giant has released data showcasing something pretty cool: they know what their users like to watch, and when, too. Netflix tracked what viewers watched in 22 countries over six months and discovered they liked to watch various genres during specific hours.

From Variety, here is a short version of the results of Netflix’s analysis: comedies in the morning, dramas during the middle of the day, thrillers in primetime, comedies late at night, and documentaries in the early hours of the morning.

Netflix’s goal when looking into this data was to show how viewers like to watch specific genres at specific times and don’t rely on what’s on live TV to suit their needs.

“For years our lives had to fit around television,” Netflix VP of content Cindy Holland said in announcing the results. “Now it’s the other way around.”

Here are more specifics from Netflix’s research. The Office or Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are 34% more popular around 6 a.m. than any other time. A similar stat can be applied between noon and 2 p.m. when Orange Is the New Black and Grey’s Anatomy make up 47% of what viewers are watching. At night shows such as The Walking DeadBreaking Bad, and Stranger Things are watched 27% more compared to during the day.

As for where things are being watched and when, in Japan people watch Netflix more on Tuesdays than any other day. In Brazil, people binge-watch shows during lunchtime between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. more than the rest of the day.

The countries that were included in the survey were: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Spain, France, the U.K., India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, and the United States.

While writing all of the words you just read, I came up with my ideal Netflix day. Here’s what I would watch and when from midnight to midnight:

Midnight – 1 a.m.: The Office, preferably the two Jim and Pam wedding episodes, “Niagara” as well as “Women’s Appreciation.”

1 a.m. – 2 a.m.: The final three episodes of Parks and Recreation.

2 a.m. – 7 a.m.: The entire House of Cards season 3.

7 a.m. – noon: The entire House of Cards season 4.

Noon – 2 p.m.: Various standup specials.

2 p.m. – 4 p.m.: The final three episodes of Stranger Things season 1.

4 p.m. – 5 p.m.: The following three episodes of The Office: “China”, “The Injury”, and “Murder.”

5 p.m. – 7 p.m.: The first three episodes of House of Cards season 1.

7 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Finding Dory (no shame).

9 p.m. – midnight: The entire season 1 of The League.

This is the best way to spend 24 hours on Netflix, and there is no disputing that. And see, Netflix, I’m doing your research for you!
