Shaunae Miller’s incredible, last-second dive at the finish line during Monday’s 400-meter event at Rio captured the Bahamian runner a gold medal.

Miller and Allyson Felix of the United States were side by side as the finish line approached and Miller’s dive propelled her to victory. It was an amazing moment. The internet, as it does, had some fun with the dive, as plenty of memes were concocted celebrating the 22-year-old’s victory.

There were those who sympathized with Felix, using the ever-popular Arthur clenched fist meme to show her disgust over losing after the dive.

Miller’s impressive sliding ability might lend itself to an MLB career.

There were comparisons made to her diving ability.
