‘Tis the season to be fighting? Apparently, that’s what some customers did at a local Waffle House on Christmas Day and the footage had social media buzzing on Tuesday.
Various videos circulated all day showing a fight that broke out at a Georgia Waffle House location. The entire incident ended with two people being arrested, per the Morgan County Citizen.
The most shocking video showed a chair being thrown at a Waffle House employee by an upset customer. Instead of jumping the counter and going after the customer, the employee deftly pushes the chair out of the way like she’s in an action movie.
As others have pointed out, it’s probably not a good idea to fight the employees at the Waffle House, given their reputation for having to deal with many dark and dramatic things, especially during the late shifts.

The angry customers and folks behind the counter resembled WWE wrestlers at times, according to some.

In case you weren’t aware, Waffle House is a diner that serves greasy fast food and breakfast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most of these restaurants are located across the Southeastern United States. Waffle House is known for attracting people late in the evening after a night on the town or perhaps just getting off work. So it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that they will get the occasionally rowdy customer who is a little too upset that their eggs are sunny side up instead of scrambled.

So common are these kinds of fracases at Waffle House that sometimes the other customers don’t even bother to get up from eating their meals.
As for these particular customers, they messed around and found out that you don’t screw with employees at the Waffle House.
