The LSU Tigers took the women’s college basketball world by storm with their NCAA Championship victory over Iowa. It looks like they will be equally as dominant next season after a shocking transfer portal announcement on Friday.
LSU will have star forward Angel Reese returning next season on top of SEC freshman of the year FlauJae Johnson. Along with these players coming back, they recently added All-American Hailey Van Lith in the transfer portal already this offseason.
They also have the No. 1 high school recruit in the country, Mikaylah Williams incoming for the upcoming season.
This makes their addition on Friday truly insane and makes them instant favorites to cut down the nets if they weren’t already. Depaul star Aneesah Morrow revealed on social media that she will also be transferring to LSU.

Morrow finished the 2022-23 season as the fourth leading scorer in the country, averaging 25.7 points per game to go along with 12.2 rebounds. On top of that, she was named an All-American for the second time in her collegiate career.
Many around the college basketball world took notice of this decision from Morrow and are now calling LSU a “super team”.

Angel Reese was certainly thrilled with the news, taking to social media to offer her opinion on Morrow’s commitment by praising LSU assistant coach Gary Redus, who seemingly played a big role in her commitment.

Obviously games aren’t played on paper, but LSU looks like one of the most dangerous teams in women’s basketball that we have ever seen.
