Atlanta Braves outfielder Jarred Kelenic just made an incredible catch!
The Braves are currently down in Florida to play the Miami Marlins as part of a weekend series. Kelenic and the Braves are hurting already after learning the news that ace Spencer Strider will miss the entire 2024 season.
Kelenic made sure that Braves fans could, at least, feel some excitement and joy.
The Braves outfielder fought through the bright sun in Miami and had to go a long way to make the catch. He sprawled out to make the diving grab, and it surely popped the Braves fans watching.

When the Braves signed Kelenic, they likely did so on a low-risk deal. The former New York Mets prospect didn’t quite figure it out up in Seattle during his time in the Pacific Northwest. The Braves acquired Kelenic after he spent three seasons in the Majors with Seattle.
It’s safe to say that Kelenic will pay dividends by making catches like this. A young player like him still flashes plenty of talent from time to time, today included. So maybe this will be a spark for Kelenic as he hopes to stay at the Major League level.
After the spectacular catch, MLB fans were buzzing. The MLB world had much to say about Jarred Kelenic and his terrific Web Gem.
I like this kid. Another AA move that is looking kinda smart https://t.co/KYQx0gJD4B

its still early but the longer kelenic is hitting like he is + his defense, its gonna be really hard to justify continuing a platoon https://t.co/IbTYeu2Srs
