You know it’s your day when your team can make spectacular plays that seem to defy logic. The Georgia Bulldogs, who were already up on the Florida Gators 14-0, had one of the best college football plays of the season on Saturday when All-American tight end Brock Bowers made an unbelievable catch.

Bowers was going up for a catch against a Flordia defender when quarterback Stetson Bennett‘s pass bounced off the head and body of the Gator defender and bounced into Bower’s hands for a 73-yard touchdown, putting the Dawgs up 21-0.

The ball would have probably been incomplete if it wasn’t for Bowers, who is considered to be the top-ranked tight end in the country by many experts.

The touchdown catch was the third of the season for Bowers and it put him over 400 yards on the year as well.

The college football world had lots to say about Bowers’s catch and how remarkable it was, with a lot of people asking the same question.

There is already talk about how Bowers is going to be the next great tight end to come out of college. However, he still has one more year in Athens before he moves on to the NFL. That’s good news for Georgia fans.
