When Tennessee defeated Alabama on the third Saturday in October during their annual rivalry game, it was the first time the Vols had defeated the Tide since Nick Saban became head coach of the Crimson Tide 15 years ago.

So it was a huge moment for not only the team but their fans as well who have waited a long time for this to happen but some fans have taken this to another level with their devotion.

Luke Jackson, who is a huge Vols fan, got a tattoo of head coach Josh Heupel smoking a cigar after defeating the Tide 52-49, Jackson posted his new tat on Twitter with a message to his head coach.

“Coach Heup, I sure hope you stay for a while cause you’re on my leg forever lol. Told everyone I’d get this if we beat Bama and I’m a man of my word.”

Clearly, Jackson who calls him a “huge Tennessee sports addict” is definitely a man of his word but who could blame him? In the past 15 years, the only time the Vols came close to defeating the Tide was under former head coach Lane Kiffin in 2009, which was the year that Alabama won their first national championship under Saban.
