The new Netflix special “Swamp Kings” will examine Urban Meyer’s time as Florida Gators head coach. As many know, Tim Tebow was the leader of those teams back in the day and one of the most talked about subjects while Tebow played was his virginity.
Tebow admitted during that time he was a virgin but apparently, his Gator teammates weren’t buying it and decided to test the star quarterback on whether or not he was telling the truth.
As the story goes, several Florida players chased Tebow around the locker room with pictures of naked women.

“I just wanted to see if he was real,” said Gators linebacker Brandon Spikes, who won two national championships with Tebow in the 2006 and 2008 seasons. “So I would like, you know, maybe have a picture, a nude picture on my phone or something and show it to him just to see how he would react.
“He was like, ‘Come on man! Like, you really get a man uncomfortable!’” Spikes said, “And I was like, ‘Oh, he’s serious.’”
Another Gator’s teammate Ryan Stamper said players were asked all the time about Tebow’s virginity.
“I was answering questions constantly about Tebow: ‘Hey, like Is he really a virgin?’ or ‘Is he really that perfect?’ or ‘Does he really just eat and sleep football?’” Stamper said. “I was like ‘Yeah, that’s who he is.’”
Tebow proclaimed at the time he was saving himself for marriage despite some in the media thinking he was too good to be true, really was as advertised.
“Here’s this kid that’s a virgin, that’s been doing missionary trips his whole life … doing all the right things. He was Captain America.”
Swamp Kings comes out on August 22nd on Netflix.
