Alex Savidge got a little more than he bargained for when he went into work today.
Savidge, a reporter for KTVU, was doing his job recording a standup near an intersection when suddenly a loud car horn was heard and BANG – two cars directly behind him crashed into each other. The collision sent one of the cars spiraling directly his way, and miraculously, Savidge and his cameraman Chip Vaughan got out of the way just in the nick of time to avoid being injured or worst.
Incredibly, the entire incident was captured on video. Watch Savidge’s spider-sense in full effect.

Thankfully, everybody involved in the accident was OK.
Savidge tweeted about the incident, saying he was fine but his heart was still pounding.

Savidge and his cameraman are lucky to have walked away from the crash unharmed. Being a reporter is difficult enough with people constantly harassing you when you’re trying to do your job, so throwing an uncontrollable, deadly vehicle into the mix is unfair.
