A man in Phoenix, AZ was arrested on charges of aggravated assault after waving a machete at a donut shop employee on Nov. 11.

ABC-15 (Arizona) reports that 31-year-old Nikolas Read Nisted entered a north Phoenix donut shop demanding free donuts, as he does “often” according to the store’s employees.

But this time an employee refused to give Nisted donut samples, and Nisted started “swearing and using derogatory comments” while waving a machete. While waving the machete, Nisted asked an employee, “Do you know what I can do to you?”

Nisted reportedly started swearing and using derogatory comments to them, while pulling out a machete.

As Nisted waved the machete toward one employee, he allegedly said, “Do you know what I can do to you?”

Nisted then ran out of the store and was spotted by a police helicopter, while still carrying the machete.

There are probably ways to go about getting free donut samples that don’t involve resorting to machete-wielding, folks. Also, this seems like a nice spot to share Larry David’s thoughts on sampling.
