Trea Turner mic'd up on Sunday Night Baseball.

The Philadelphia Phillies faced off against the Texas Rangers in the first Sunday Night Baseball game of the season. The game was a low-scoring pitching affair, but one hilarious mic’d up moment from Trea Turner happened to catch one of the biggest moments of the entire game.

Turner was mic’d up in the second inning while the Rangers were up to bat. He was asked by ESPN’s Karl Ravich about his free agency this past offseason. However, he was rudely interrupted by a massive solo home run from Rangers’ third baseman Josh Jung off Phillies pitcher Bailey Falter.

The Phillies star knew as soon as Jung made contact that this ball wasn’t going to land anytime soon. This made for a hilarious mic’d up moment where Turner reacted accordingly.

“Oh no,” said Turner as he heard the crack of the bat from Jung.

Many also took notice of this hilarious moment from Turner on Sunday Night Baseball.

Unfortunately for the Phillies, this home run from Jung would certainly come back to cost them. It would be the deciding factor in a 2-1 victory for the Rangers to complete the series sweep.

This 0-3 start for the Phillies is certainly not what Turner was likely expecting when he decided to sign with the team instead of returning to play for the Los Angeles Dodgers. They will get their chance to turn things around in their next series against the New York Yankees.
