While Trae Young has a long, long way to go to be anywhere remotely close to a similar player, the Oklahoma product has gotten plenty of Steph Curry comparisons over the last year.

And it’s easy to understand why. They’re both undersized, quick combo guards — primarily point guards —  with elite shooting ability from anywhere on the floor, and their shooting ability is especially a rare skill when it comes to shooting off the dribble.

On Wednesday night in preseason action against the San Antonio Spurs at Georgia Tech, the rookie Atlanta Hawks guard scored 22 points (8-18 FG, 4-8 3PT, 2-3 FT). And three of those points came on the game-winning shot with 2.2 seconds remaining.

Watch Young casually drain this three from way downtown:

That certainly looked very Steph Curry-esque.
