The Ivy League is getting a stud quarterback next season.

2018 QB Brevin White — a four-star prospect according to Rivals — committed to Princeton on Tuesday, choosing the Tigers over Arizona State, Oregon State, Tennessee, and Utah.

White announced his commitment on Twitter, and here’s the statement he gave:

By playing in the Ivy League, not only is White passing on the highest level of college football, but he’s also passing on an athletic scholarship. That’s a bold move, but NFL quarterbacks have come out of the Ivy League before, with Ryan Fitzpatrick (Harvard, 2005) being the most recent prominent example.

White is one of the top pro-style quarterbacks available in the Class of 2018, so he should make Princeton football fun to watch. While the Tigers have been perennial contenders in the Ivy League, they haven’t had a talent like White.
