After weeks of speculation, former Pitt wide receiver Jordan Addison apparently had narrowed down his transfer choice to two schools, the Texas Longhorns and USC Trojans.
Many thought that Addison was a slam dunk for USC after he left Pitt, but when reports started to come out that he was working out with Alabama quarterback Bryce Young back in California, that seemed to throw a lot of questions into the air.

New USC coach Lincoln Riley was accused of tampering with Addison before he left Pitt and rumors were that Addison was going to Southern Cal because the school may have offered him a ton of NIL money and a house.
Texas being in the picture may come as a surprise to some, but head coach Steve Sarkisian was considered a game-calling genius while he was the offensive coordinator at Alabama and that’s one of the main reasons the Longhorns hired him last year.

Sarkisian has signed several players from the transfer portal, including a few from his former school.
Addison is expected to make his final decision in the coming days.
Tuesday, former Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall, who transferred to Austin recently, had taken down all his social media post about Texas. That led to speculation that it might be because the Longhorns’ wide receiver room is about to get bigger.
We’ll know soon enough.
