The South Carolina Gamecocks made a buzzer-beating half-court shot to take down the Ole Miss Rebels 77-74 in overtime on Tuesday night in Oxford.

South Carolina had the ball under its own basket with 2.0 seconds remaining and the game tied 74-74 in overtime, when James Reese V received the inbound pass at half-court. In one motion, Reese caught the pass and turned around to bank in a shot from the half-court circle on Ole Miss’ home floor.

Incredible. Reese was 0-for-5 on threes in the game before providing one of the most amazing moments in college basketball this season.

It’s not March quite yet, but the madness is already here.

South Carolina — who entered the game as a four-point road underdog — improves to 15-10 on the season and 6-7 in SEC play.
