UCLA star sophomore Kris Wilkes battled leg cramps all night against Notre Dame on Saturday, and that was still evident in the final second when he nailed a three to give the Bruins a 65-62 victory at Pauley Pavilion.

Wilkes drilled the three, then went falling to the ground in pain.

Wilkes finished the night with 14 points (tied for the game-high) and eight rebounds. The Bruins are now 7-2 on the season.

  1. Is Kris Wilkes related to Jamaal [who played for the Warriors & Lakers in the 1970s & 80s], Omar or Jordan Wilkes?
