Bills

For most of this week, the NFL world has been gripped by the horrible incident regarding Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, which left him in desperate need of life-saving CPR on the field. But as terrifying as the situation was, Hamlin appears to be headed toward an incredible recovery, and it’s due in no small part to the heroic efforts of Bills assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington.

In the midst of Monday night’s terrifying events, Kellington played an absolutely vital role in saving the life of Damar Hamlin as sprung into action to administer CPR to him on the field. And it’s clear that his efforts did not go unnoticed by Bills wide receiver John Brown, who awarded him with the game ball after his touchdown catch.

“CBS cameras catch John Brown giving his TD ball to Bills assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington, who performed CPR on Damar Hamlin last [Monday],” Awful Announcing said in a tweet.

The Buffalo Bills won Sunday afternoon’s game against the New England Patriots to clinch the No. 2 seed in the AFC thanks to a couple of massive special teams plays. And Hamlin was watching and cheering them on from the hospital wishing that he could be there with his team himself.

It was a good day all around for the Buffalo Bills.
