After the terrifying incident that sent him into cardiac arrest and needing life-saving CPR on the field during Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Bills safety Damar Hamlin will obviously be unable to compete for the Buffalo Bills as they try to secure the No. 2 seed in the AFC with a win over the New England Patriots, but he’s shared a very important message ahead of the game.
Damar Hamlin posted a short message on Twitter lamenting that he can’t run out of the tunnel with the rest of the team on Sunday, but pointed out that God is using him in a different way, and urged everyone to tell someone they love them today.

“GameDay.. Nothing I Want More Than To Be Running Out That Tunnel With My Brothers. God Using Me In A Different Way Today. Tell Someone You Love Them Today! 🫶🏾3️⃣ let’s go @BuffaloBills,” Hamlin said in a Tweet.
Though the situation was certainly very serious and Hamlin’s life was in jeopardy, he has shown some “remarkable improvement” so far and doctors sound very hopeful as he continues his recovery.
And his latest statement is fitting of his personality given that one of the first things Hamlin asked when he woke up is whether or not his team won the game.
