Since the tragic and terrifying incident that sent Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin to the hospital by ambulance after receiving CPR on the field, there have not been many updates and Hamlin’s family has been understandably out of the spotlight. But on Tuesday morning, the family released a statement.
Jordon Rooney, who is a friend and business partner of Damar Hamlin, has been providing some crucial updates on Hamlin since the terrifying incident, and he shared a message from Hamlin’s family, as well.

“On behalf of our family, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the love and support shown to Damar during this challenging time. We are deeply moved by the prayers, kind words, and donations from fans around the country.”
We also want to acknowledge the dedicated first responders and healthcare professionals at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center who have provided exceptional care to Damar. We feel so blessed to be part of the Buffalo Bills organization and to have their support. We also want to thank Coach Taylor and the Bengals for everything they’ve done.

It goes without saying that the entire sports world will continue to pray for Hamlin and his family during this difficult time.
