This week, the New Orleans Saints had a rough showing on the offensive side of the ball during a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they have yet to score more than 20 points on the season. But star quarterback Derek Carr thinks the team has the right personnel to be successful.

During a recent interview session, Derek Carr made it clear that he’s happy with the players the Saints have on that side of the ball, but it’s just a matter of making “corrections.”

“We have the right kind of people in the room,” Carr said according to the New Orleans Saints official team website. “We have people that know what they’re doing, we have people that want to do it right and they can do it right. We want to get back on track just as bad as everybody wants us to. We know what we’re capable of. The best thing is, we just go out there and try to prove it again this Sunday. Make the corrections from what we’ve talked about, make our adjustments and things like that. But we have the right people, that’s for sure.”

We’ll have to see if the Saints can play up to their potential this year.
