Chippiness seems to be a theme going around the National Football League since camps opened. First, there was an incident between Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs at Dallas Cowboys practice.

Now, it seems that Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and defensive end Maxx Crosby got a little chippy at practice.

Apparently, Crosby not only trashed talked his quarterbacks, but hit him also, which of course is a no, no during practice.

Garoppolo just came back from a foot injury he suffered last year and a hard hit on him could have been a disaster for the team.

Crosby was later punished by having to run laps. It’s ironic that Crosby just last week talked about Garoppolo’s trash talk during practice and how much actually liked it.

“He’s a dog and I love it. And I am not just saying that because he’s my QB,” he said according to Vic Tafur.

Crosby obviously didn’t like it on Tuesday. It’s kind of shocking actually because Garoppolo has won over the team with his demeanor and personality, in fact, he is seen as a nice guy.

But like a lot of quarterbacks, he likes to trash-talk his teammates a little bit, but sometimes it can go too far.
