After another frustrating loss, the Las Vegas Raiders find themselves in a dilemma at the quarterback position. Jimmy Garoppolo returned to the starting lineup for the team’s 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions and did not play well at all.

Garoppolo was largely ineffective in Monday’s game, completing just 10-of-21 passes (47.6 percent) for 126 yards with zero touchdowns and one head-scratching interception. The Raiders’ only touchdown came on Marcus Peters’ pick-six.

Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels was non-commital on Garoppolo’s starting status, and refused to say whether he would be the team’s starting moving forward after his dismal Monday night performance.

“I’m not going to talk about that right now,” McDaniels said when asked about Garoppolo remaining the team’s starter, per The Athletic’s Vic Tafur.

McDaniels isn’t the only one frustrated. Reports are that Davante Adams was angry also.

Adams, who only had one catch Monday night, threw his helmet in frustration. Afterward, he explained why he was so upset.

“Honestly, I don’t know what to say at this moment,” Adams said. “I truly don’t. I wish I had the words to say something that’s not gonna get blown up in the media and taken out of context, so “I’m just — I truly, I just don’t know.”

He later added: “It’s just hard to curb your frustration when you can’t put it together when you know you should.”

All is not well in Las Vegas. We’ll have to see how they respond against the 2-6 New York Giants this coming Sunday
