In the game of the year, Justin Jefferson had a game for the ages Sunday.

The Minnesota Vikings star set a career-high with 193 receiving yards on 10 catches, including a touchdown, to lead Minnesota to a 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills. That’s the most receiving yards by an NFL player this season.

Jefferson repeatedly found the tiniest seams in the tough Bills defense to haul in clutch catches. When he wasn’t open, he still found a way to do something amazing. Late in the fourth quarter, he caught a long pass from Kirk Cousins with one hand, taking the ball away from Bills cornerback Cam Lewis.

That incredible play kept Minnesota’s drive alive on 4th & 18. And while that drive didn’t yield a score, the good field position enabled the Vikings to score the go-ahead touchdown after Josh Allen mishandled a snap.

Jefferson now has 20 games with 100 or more yards in his career, the most by an NFL player in his first three seasons.

Vikings fans have come to expect such greatness from the Pro Bowl wide receiver, but the fact Jefferson had his career game on a national stage, against arguably the NFL’s best team, turned heads.

“Justin Jefferson is the best WR in the NFL,” tweeted Gabe Ramirez.

“Justin Jefferson should seriously be in the MVP conversation right now,” tweeted Evan Elliott.
