The rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears is perhaps the most bitter hatred in football. Packers quarterback Jordan Love added fuel to the flame by roasting Bears fans in a Father’s Day joke, or at least that’s what he attempted…
Love took to social media to issue a message to the Bears fanbase, wishing them a happy Father’s Day.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the Bears fans out there. Go Pack go.”

It was seemingly supposed to be a joke suggesting that he is the father of Bears fans, but it clearly came off as him instead calling Bears fans his father.
Many fans took notice of this hilarious error and roasted him on social media.

Even if the joke had gone to plan for Love, it isn’t like Love has exactly proven that he is a quality quarterback yet that can continuously beat the Bears like Aaron Rodgers did before him.
In two seasons in the NFL, Love has appeared in ten games, recording three touchdowns and three interceptions on only 83 total pass attempts. He has still yet to even take the field against the Bears in his career.
Packers coaches have been very complimentary of Love this offseason. Quarterbacks coach Tony Clements said earlier this offseason that he has “all the tools” to be a successful starting quarterback in the NFL.
He may very well become a successful quarterback in the NFL, but he may want to wait to trash-talk a division rival until he can prove that he is indeed the Bears’ father.
