Former Tamp Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown was arrested outside his home in Florida Sunday for not paying child support.

Wiltrice Jackson, who is the mother of Brown’s daughter, told TMZ that the former NFL wide receiver owes her almost $31,000. The Miami-Dade Police Department filed the warrant, and the Broward County Sheriff’s Department took the 35-year-old into custody.

He was released early Monday morning on a $15,000 bond.

Jackson said she was glad that Brown was arrested.

“I do want him arrested,” she told TMZ. “Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.”

Jackson also added that their 15-year-old daughter that they share is an up-and-coming track and field athlete who is starting to get scholarship offers from the likes of the University of Miami and the University of Oregon.

She wants Brown to be a part of their child’s life.

“By him having a daughter like an athlete like her, you would think he’d be in her corner to support her,” she said.

Two months ago, a judge had found that Brown indeed had been missing child support payments. Brown hasn’t played football in two years but is a co-owner with the Albany Empire of the Arena Football League.
