Tennessee Titans fans have been waiting a long time to see their team catch fire. But not this literally.

Before Sunday’s game between the Titans and Indianapolis Colts at Nissan Stadium, one of the pieces of pyro equipment set up at the edge of the field for the national anthem and team introductions malfunctioned, sending flames high into the air and causing a brief panic.

Luckily no one was hurt and a stadium employee was able to douse the fire and get it out before it caused further damage. Impressively, the game even started on time.

Of course, there were jokes. Because this is how it works.

Here’s to hoping the only other thing that catches fire (figuratively) today at Nissan Stadium is the scoreboard.
