As anybody who’s ever played a round of golf understands, it can be a cruel sport that destroys your confidence. But former United States President Donald Trump seems to have found a way to combat those negative thoughts while on the golf course – pay people to say nice things.
According to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, Trump has a “rotating cast of aides” that follow him on the golf course and read him compliments from Twitter or the rest of the Internet as “positive reinforcement” while he’s golfing.
As Trump has been out of office over the last 20 mos,a rotating cast of aides has been tasked with following him around the golf course at the club he's at and giving him positive reinforcement from Twitter and wherever else they find it on the web, per ppl told of the practice.

Naturally, Haberman’s incredible report on Trump’s golf habits caused quite a stir on the Internet, with many people taking to Twitter to share their reactions. Many found it absolutely hilarious and wished that they could hire people to do the same for them throughout their normal lives.

This legitimately explains as much about the political moment we are in as any other piece of reporting that has come out over the past six years https://t.co/NBkppryaDN

Perhaps Trump could push LIV Golf to incorporate this practice, given his family’s involvement in the league.
