Herschel Walker, the Republican candidate for Senate in Georgia, faces Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock in a special election per state law after neither candidate eclipsed the 50 percent required to win the election on Tuesday.

The campaign has been one of the most brutal in the country and turned especially nasty before polls closed earlier in the week. Both sides spent more than $241 million on the race. Two women accused the pro-life Walker of financing their abortions, with the second accuser appearing on video while doing so. Walker denied the accusations.

Former presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump campaigned for their party’s respective candidates. Even Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James weighed in on the race by endorsing Senator Warnock.

Walker, who raised an eye-popping $3.3 million in the first 24 hours of the new election cycle, created more headlines shortly thereafter while speaking at a political rally.

“Do you know we’re the greatest country in the United States?” Walker asked the crowd.

“Do you know we’re the greatest country […] in the world because we have the United States military?” Walker said, quickly correcting himself.

Oddsmakers currently list Warnock as the favorite to win the head-to-head matchup.

The Georgia Senate runoff election is scheduled for Dec. 6th.
