Canada is getting an exclusive Taco Bell menu item, and it sounds…interesting.

An epic collaboration between two fan faves that’s only in —Cheetos #CrunchwrapSliders.

Taco Bell announced the chain will serve three new types of crunchwraps (beefy cheddar, spicy chicken and supreme), with jalapeno-flavored Cheetos stuffed inside. They’re reportedly smaller than the usual crunchwrap, and will cost you $3 Canadian (so about 12 cents USD).

Canadians seem to be generally excited about this concoction and the fact that its exclusive to Canada. But personally, this Canadian isn’t too hyped.

Taco Bell is up there for most overrated fast food joints, as there are much better Canadian options like Harvey’s, A&W and Tim Hortons. Taco Bell leaves you feeling sick, tired and full of instant regret. Adding another type of food to the mix, this time the equally-overrated Cheetos, sounds less than appetizing. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

I’m clearly not the target audience here and props have to be given to Taco Bell for thinking about us Canadians first. It’s easy to imagine enough customers will love the new crunchwraps as many people love it when a fast food chain “Frankensteins” a new menu item, like the Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme.

However, Cheetos and Taco Bell feels like a flagrant combination. You can only play God so much, Taco Bell.
