We all laughed when the Mariners added grasshoppers to their ballpark menu. Now they are the ones laughing on their piles and piles of cash. Because those grasshoppers sold out at Safeco Field during Seattle’s home opener Monday:

Amazingly, this isn’t really that crazy for ballpark food. There’s just about every ridiculous food out there, although stadiums are always finding ways to push the boundaries. But as far as I know, these are the first insects to make their way onto the menu.
