The New England Patriots have struggled mightily on the offensive side of the ball this preseason leading to a very frustrated Bill Belichick. And even though the offense is nowhere close to fixed, the Patriots head coach found a surprising reason to smile on Wednesday.
The Patriots are spending the week in Las Vegas as the team participates in joint practice sessions with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of Friday’s preseason game. During the team’s trip to Vegas, the Patriots decided to swing by UFC Headquarters for a tour. And Belichick appeared to have the time of his life.
At one point during the team’s visit, UFC President Dana White presented Belichick with a championship belt. And the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach has never looked happier than he did with that oversized, shiny belt around his waist.

After White put the belt around Belichick’s waist, the Patriots’ coach stepped to the middle of the room, turned to the crowd, and awkwardly raised his hands in mock celebration – all while flashing a huge grin.
The NFL world seems to agree that while the video is a little cringeworthy, it’s also good to see Belichick looking so happy.
