The NFL divisional round playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers Sunday saw a lot of great catches. One of the most remarkable was the one Cowboys’ receiver CeeDee Lamb made despite pass interference:

This led to a lot of Twitter reactions:

As noted there, this came after discussion of a finger injury to Lamb on the Fox broadcast:

That, combined with the declined pass interference penalty, made this really remarkable. Of course, it’s one of just many great plays that Lamb (seen at right above with quarterback Dak Prescott during last week’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) has made over the course of his career in college and the pros. And partway through the fourth quarter of this game, Lamb had a team-high 10 catches for 117 yards, plus two carries for six yards.

This season, Lamb posted 107 catches for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns. In his three-season NFL career so far since the Cowboys’ selection of him in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft (17th overall), he has 260 regular-season catches for 3,396 yards and 20 touchdowns. And he looks to be an important piece for them moving forward as well.
