There are so many unknowns with Tom Brady and the 2023 NFL season, it’s hard to know what’s fact and fiction. While Monday night’s playoff game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys will influence where things go from here, there are some interesting potential destinations being floated for the future hall-of-fame quarterback.

Brady’s deal with the Bucs ends after this season and there has been lots of speculation about where he’ll play next season, that is, if he does return and doesn’t retire instead. The Las Vegas Raiders seem to be a potential destination but the Miami Dolphins have also been rumored. There’s also speculation that he’ll go wherever Sean Payton decides to coach.

While it’s all just talk for now, when NFL insider Ian Rapoport says something, people take notice. During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday, Rapoport floated some theories about potential teams for Brady next season and that includes the New York Jets.

“What about the Jets? He’s got family in New York. They need a quarterback,” said Rapoport.

“It’s cold. He ain’t never gonna go cold,” responded McAfee.

It’s merely speculation on Rapoport’s part, but it’s interesting to consider that Brady could end up playing for his biggest divisional rival from his New England Patriots days.

For the record, Rapoport also floated the Tennessee Titans, though he felt that Raiders remain the “team to watch” in the potential Tom Bradt Sweepstakes.
