The Baltimore Ravens took on the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, but were without quarterback Lamar Jackson, who remained sidelined with a knee injury. But while Jackson wasn’t on the field, he did have confidence in his team. Unfortunately for Jackson, that confidence was not well founded.

Cleveland led Baltimore 6-3 at halftime. That promoted Jackson to tweet, “2nd half we eat,” using a fork, plate and knife emoji in place of “eat.”

It didn’t exactly work out that way. Baltimore’s first two possessions of the second half ended in turnovers, with the first coming by way of an interception and the second being a lost fumble. After that, the Ravens had a blocked field goal, followed by a pair of turnovers on downs. The Browns didn’t do much offensively in the second half, but did put together a 91-yard scoring drive in the third quarter to open up a 13-3 lead. That stood as the final.

That led to a lot of fans responding and having fun with Jackson. One fan responded with a gif of Seinfeld’s famed Soup Nazi.

That was not the only food joke that was made.

Jackson was hurt in the first quarter of Baltimore’s Week 13 game over the Denver Broncos. Since his injury, it’s been tough sledding for the Ravens on offense. Baltimore won that game and also defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14. But despite the decent record since his injury, the Ravens have scored only 26 points in nearly three full games without Jackson on the field.

So, the Ravens are certainly hoping that Jackson will get back into action as soon as possible.
