No one knows what Tom Brady will be doing next season. Brady himself probably doesn’t have a clue at the moment.

There’s been endless speculation about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback retiring, or going to another team.

His friend and former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, knows Brady better than most. And he made a couple of predictions this week on Travis and Jason Kelce’s popular podcast, “New Heights.”

First, Gronk tackled the seemingly unlikely rumor that Brady might return to the New England Patriots.

“I would 100 percent be surprised if he went back to New England, no doubt,” Gronkowski said. “It would be nuts, it would be a crazy story, but I just really don’t see that happening.”

Yet Gronk quickly backtracked, saying the possibility of a Brady-Pats reunion can’t be ruled out.

“I’m not Tom, I’m just putting my analyzing skills out there,” Gronk said, “and I think that would be a tough shot for him, but it’s open.”

Brady addressed his future after the Bucs lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs Monday night, saying, ““It’ll just be one day at a time. Truly.”

Speculation around the NFL world has seen Brady going to the Las Vegas Raiders, the New York Jets and elsewhere.

But Brady returning to New England? Gronk doesn’t see it. The Kelce brothers asked the four-time All-Pro about life under Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, and Gronkowski didn’t hold back.

“Walk in and show up with zero f—ing excuses,” he said. “And don’t f— up in the mental game. Don’t cause a scene. Don’t egg anything on.”

Brady’s decision will be one of the biggest stories of the offseason. Stay tuned.
